Sabrent announces SSD heatsink designed specifically for the PS5

Sabrent has announced its M.2 NVMe PS5 heatsink, which is an innovative solution when compared to other aftermarket heatsink options, asย it replaces the SSD cover of the PlayStation 5 entirely.

Sabrent claims this increases the cooling capabilities of the heatsink by working together with the negative pressure design of the PS5.

The video mentions compatibility with some SSDs from other manufacturers, but we'll likely have to wait for reports from owners once its widely available.

The heatsink is available for preorder in the US ahead of its October 14 release, both as a standalone and bundled with the Rocket 4 Plus NVMe SSD in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB sizes:
