The PS Plus Essential line up for August is one of the best yet

August is a winner for PS Plus subscribers, even if you haven't upgraded to one of the new tiers.
Vicarious Visions finally gave the Tony Hawk series the modern treatment it deserved with 2020's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, and its metascore of 90 makes it the highest-rated PS5 game to hit PS Plus Essential.
Also on offer is Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the latest instalment of Sega's long running RPG series. If you like it, there's seven other Yakuza games coming to either Extra or Premium tiers throughout 2022.
