Modern Warfare II beta kicks off on September 16 for PlayStation

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta dates have been announced. The first weekend is exclusive to PlayStation:
September 16-17 – Early Access
September 18-20 – Open Beta
The second weekend opens things up to other platforms, and includes cross-platform multiplayer:
September 22-23 – Open Beta (PlayStation) / Early Access (Xbox/PC)
September 24-26 – Open Beta (All Platforms)
For early access, you'll need to pre-order the game. Even for someone who has very fond memories of Modern Warfare II from 2009, it seems crazy to pre-order a game for two days of early access to a beta but...whatever floats your boat.
